I'm burnin' here

Dear Steve,

When I reach to get a knife that is on the drying rack, I assume it's been washed. When I cut into my apple, and then take a big bite, I expect to be greated with the delicious, sweet snap of wonderful fruit. Instead, my lips and tongue catch fire.

I understand how much you love your serrano and habaneros. I get that, and that's great. I don't think however that it's a weird thing for me to expect that you then wash that knife with lots of soap and hot water. Rinsing it under the faucet and putting it away, isn't washing it.

Now I have burning lips and feel like I'm going to puke. Thank you ever so much. This is the 3rd time this has happened, maybe I should just wash every clean dish before I use it to make sure this doesn't happen again?
